Of all the castor oil derivatives, the so-called castor wax group is the most well known derivatives. It mainly comprised of; HCO-Hydrogenated Castor Oil and its fatty acid, 12HSA, 12-Hydroxy-stearic acid.

T K WAX CO., LTD was established in the year 1984 as a jont venture to manufacture castor waxes in Thailand. The Thai partner Thai Castor Oil Industries Co., Ltd. Supplied high quality castor oil as the raw material and the Japanese partners, Kawaken Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. And KF Trading Co., Ltd. Provide technical support and distribution network in Japan. Originally the company was registered as Thai Kawaken Co., Ltd.and it was changed to T K Was Co., Ltd. in 2004.

The company production capacity is about 17,500 m/tons of various grades of wax and it has obtained the ISO 9001-2000 accreditation from TUV, Germany from year 2003, and later with the revised ISO 9001-2008, and ISO 9001-2015.

In it flake from, the HCO and 12HSA are mainly used in the lubricating industry, as raw material for the lithium and calcium based lubricating greases for the automobile, machinery, cosmetics, toiletries, polishes, rubber and plastics product, etc.

Apart from the above two main products, the company also produce the followings :-

N,N’Ethylene bis 12-Hydroxystearamide or BISAMIDE, is produced by adding Amines to the 12-Hydroxy-stearic acid molecule to give a stable and harder wax with high melting point which is insoluble in most organic solvents thereby giving excellent lubricating, sealing and anti-block properties. It is widely used as mold lubricant and releasing agent for plastic extrusion, pigment dispersant in ink and coating, plasticizer and electric insulation compounds.

75/25 Blend of HCO/Bisamide or BLEND, is produced simply mixing HCO and Bisamide. It is used as thixotropic agent for non-aqueous coating.

All above products we also produce in various fineness powders, for the application in the plastic industry or as the thixotropic agent for the paint industry.
